Church Street Pier, built in 1897 was used for small vessels to dock, and ferry service from Georgetown to Butterworth until 1960s. After Raja Tun Uda Ferry Terminal was built, this pier has shut down since then until lately the RM43 mil revitalize project completed and turn it into a world-class marina~ named Tanjong City Marina. It can accommodate up to 140 yachts, catamarans and smaller vessels. The harbour front also have ocean view restaurants located on top of the sea.
