Korean Fried Chicken~ Chicken House, Solaris Mont' Kiara

Chicken House has been operate for business many years in Ampang. Recently they open a branch in Solaris Mont' Kiara. Now we have another choice for Korean fried chicken delivery whenever we feel like want to have chi-mek at home. Last Saturday night we were here for dinner. We order ban-pan (half-half) fried chicken as our dinner - Spicy Fried Chicken and Soya Sauce Garlic Fried Chicken. Soya Garlic Fried Chicken become our new favorite after first bite! Crispy, juicy and tender with the caramelized soya sauce coated on the outer layer and little bit of minced garlic sprinkle on it. While the Spicy Fried Chicken turns out spicier than we thought. The fried chicken is cook only upon order place.

One month later we begin to order the fried chicken delivery to home. Delivery within Mont' Kiara area is free with minimum order RM50 & above. We would order one whole chicken or half half which cost around RM62. For other area, some extra charges apply. Originally the drink is coke, I don't drink carbonate drink so I replace with Sikye (Sweet rice punch) with extra charges. Chicken house is not Pork-free since they have pork in their menu.

Michelin-starred Dim Sum~ Tim Ho Wan, One Utama Shopping Centre

Spending weekend at One Utama Shopping Centre again. This time we tried this "Michelin-starred" Dim Sum @ Tim Ho Wan as breakfast. Unlike the long queue during their opening time, there's no queue and we were seated immediately after walked in this morning. The menu choices are limited. It comprises of their Signature 4 Heavenly Kings, vermicelli roll (4 items), steamed (7 items), deep fried (3 items), rice (3 items), congee (1 item), vegetable(1 item), desserts (1 item) and beverages (6 items). Besides that, there are also some Chef's Recommendation for the month of Jan / Feb 2016.

We had Baked Bun with BBQ Pork @ RM11.50, Duo Shrimp Wonton Soup @ RM16.80 from the Chef's recommendation of the month, and Stir fried Hor Fun with Pork @ RM15.80. The BBQ Pork Baked Bun makes us wow by it's crusty and fluffy outer layer and the juicy tender barbecued pork filling. I would come back again just for the baked bun. The duo shrimp wonton and stir fried hor fun however is just normal according to our preference. I read comments many said that their dim-sum is 'over-prices'. I personally think the price range is still reasonable given that they are located in a famous shopping mall, plus the 'Michelin-Starred'.
