Korean Grocer (by Jaya Grocer), One Utama Shopping Centre

PJ is having Korean Grocer now - open by Jaya Grocer at One Utama Shopping Centre. The product variety and selections is similar to some of those we could normally seen at the Korean food section inside Jaya Grocer (or Village grocer, Isetan and etc). Compare to those Korean marts that run by Koreans at Mont Kiara, there's a different in terms of ingredients, side dishes, condiments and etc. However, those popular Korean products that commonly known by the locals is selling here. This newly open Korean Grocer is located next to the MRT station exit - a newly expanded area is named "K district" where more shops related to Korean will be open in future.

Shin Sun Mi Market, Sunway Geo

Shin Sun Mi, Ampang has relocated to Sunway Geo last year. I came here to get food such food such as kimbap, japchae, tteok etc for lunch and dinner several times when he was admitted to Sunway Medical Centre. The hospital block C is linked to Sunway Geo via a link bridge (Sunway Medical BRT station) so it is safe to walkover under the roof. 

Thanks to Shin Sun Mi @ Sunway Geo, I managed to get some groceries such as frozen food, meat, instant noodles, side dishes even veggies during the 1st lockdown without queuing long. I wasn't able to get groceries as everywhere is super long queue and ran out of stocks due to panic buying including the Jaya Grocer in front of Shin Sun Mi @ Sunway Geo during his emergency admission.

Lee Mart, Desa Seri Hartamas

I have been wanted to do an update of all the Korean marts in the neighbourhood. So I drop by this Lee Mart after dinner nearby. To be honest I have not been here since they newly open several years ago. Now it seems like is has became a Korean product wholesaler than a typical Korean mart I know. Anyway generally Korean products that commonly sell can be find here, except it is not so organized. The lady who run the place (not sure if she's the owner) speaks mandarin but she's not local Chinese.

Kim's Mart, Solaris Mont Kiara 킴스마트

Just want to keep an update of Kim's Mart current faces. There is a changes in products variety and item arrangements, however still well maintained and more and more variety especially on side dishes and frozen sections.

Dimsum after a long time~ Jin Xuan, Kota Damansara

After series of lockdown and unlock due to covid, finally I get to eat the dimsum that I have been thinking of for a long time! Jin Xuan now offers frozen dimsum takeaway / delivery in order to survive the lockdown period. Order the usual dimsum that we like~ Har Gaw (Steamed Prawn Dumpling), Siu-Mai (Minced Pork and Shrimp Dumpling), Steamed Bean Curd, Steamed Scallop Shrimp Dumpling and Lo Mai Kai (Steamed Glutinous Rice with Chicken, Chinese Sausage and Mushroom), Golden Buns and Fried Yam Pastry with mayonnaise! Never know that the dimsum that we used to eat whenever we feel like want to in the past, can be so hard to get during the lockdown. Today's dimsum become so precious and I savour it more than usual.
