Sunday Hike~ Bukit Kiara via Kiaramas Ayuria

March 2021. My Sunday hike with Christal who first time came here. Hikers are getting more and more just like Saturday hikes. Less mountain bikers but more dogs lately. Today's trail is wet and muddy due to the rain a day before, I skidded several times during descending. On my way down, stopped by and step inside the bushes that full with blossoms and I love what I see.

Today's hike : Total 8.08 km | 2 hours 41 mins 33 seconds

접는김밥~ Quick & Easy Folded Kimbap

March 2021. This foldable kimbap has been very popular in Korea lately. It is indeed the easiest way to make kimbap in the Korean sandwich toast way! It is not easy to make kimbap (Korean rice rolls) for some people, as the seaweed might not roll and seal properly; also, the rice might fall apart if it is not sticky enough, etc. There is no fixed ingredient for the foldable kimbap. You can use any ingredients you like. Today, I am trying to make one with the most common and popular ingredients, and of course, I succeeded on my first try. ✿

Ingredient:
Gim (Seaweed Sheets for kimbap use type)
Cooked rice (no seasoning required)
Korean spam cut in slices
Sautee kimchi with sesame oil
Fried eggs
Mayonnaise

How to make:

Step 1
Cook rice! While waiting for rice cook, start to make fried eggs, On the same pan, pan fried spam slices with the leftover oil from fried eggs earlier. Then only sautee the kimchi with a little bit of sesame until kimchi is cook.

Step 2
Take out a piece of gim gentle fold it into 4x4 size (in square) to left a mark on the gim. This will helps in cutting the gim exactly in the middle line to the middle point like picture below.

Step 3
Place all the ingredients as follow. Top left:- Rice and sautee kimchi on top of it. Top right:- Spam with some mayonnaise topping. Bottom left will be empty and Bottom right:- Fried eggs.

Step 4
Start folding the kimbap from flip the bottom left up to cover the top left.

Then, flip the left hand side over to the right hand side (Top right).

Then combine the top and bottom and it is done! It's doesn't looks tidy here but trust me, it's yummy!

No pies, but Full English Breakfast & Margherita Pizza~ GravyBaby, Jalan P. Ramlee

March 2021. Before my lunch buddy Christal leaves for Dubai and isn't coming back for a long time, we had a lunch date here at Gravy baby nearby my new office. Gravy baby is famous for it's pie (that's what they indicate). Since I have tried the pie before, I choose to go for their Full English Breakfast this time, and Christal wanted a Margherita pizza. Come to think about it, she always orders pizza when we have lunch date haha. Not sure if it was because of the hot weather, the seating area in front the bar counter or near the entrance and open windows was so hot. We end up asking to move our seats to behind the bar counter. Look forward to spending a day with her next next week when she comes by to stayover at my place.✿
