Chi-mek~ The Cafe Chicken, Desa Sri Hartamas

Stressful with work lately, want to release stress a little with chimek tonight. Not a person who like to drink but when feeling stress, a glass of cold beer did helps to cool down the stress a bit. Order ban-ban Yangmyeom chikin (sweet & spicy fried chicken) + Ganjang chikin (soy sauce fried chicken). Also an extra Yangpa-ring (fried onion ring) to go with the Hite beer. Besides Korean fried chicken, they also have quite a numbers of food choice that suitable go for drinking or late night snack. This place was previously Wow Chicken ~ where we came here for Korean fried chicken date after moved to Mont Kiara. It has closed down for sometimes and then re-open as The Chicken Cafe not long ago. Hopefully new business will continue to stay since Korean fried chicken is now widely known by the locals.

Kimbab & Coffee~ Koko Rose Coffee & Cake, Sunway Nexis

A Korean cafe where we frequently have lunch recently. I often seek for quiet and not so crowded place nearby for lunch break since that's the only time I can temporarily rest my mind from hectic work. The friendly Korean couple owners and their smiley staffs is another reason that draws me here. We normally go for lunch set since it comes with coffee or tea. Kimbab, Chicken Bulgogi served with rice and Spagetthi with Cabonara sauce is one of the set lunch that I often order. Their food taste average but their coffee is one of most decent coffee I can get in Sunway Nexis. Their teapot set is unique - the teapot is on top of the tea cup in set. 

2018年后记：可惜，就像很多在这里的韩国餐饮业，这家也抵不过一年，关门了。再次见到这间cafe的老板，他竟然在Gangnam Oppa 打工（餐厅经理）。我还记得他，小心翼翼的问候他是否还记得我。他还记得呢~ 还很开心的告诉餐厅老板（老板是我们的朋友）我们曾经是他的熟客。也给了我 서비스 免费饮料。一开始我认出他时，先生其实有阻拦我别问，可能怕他会不好意思吧。毕竟他曾经是老板，现在打工。但我觉得还好，有人还记得你总比没人记得你好吧。希望他一切安好。

One person one fish~ Lan Je, Kota Damansara

We are coming back for their Steam Tilapia Fish again. Just like the slogan, one person one fish - you can have the whole fish by yourself with the preferred size (S, M or L). The soy sauce steamed Tilapia Fish is topped with ginger, garlic and chili padi. It feels so satisfying since I can have the whole fish by myself, and the price is affordable too! 

Anyway, this Kota Damansara branch is not really near to the part of Kota Damansara that we know. Needs to drive a little further up. When we came here for the first time, we were with friends and it was day time, we never feel it was far. Somehow just now when we drove here using GPS, the road is kind of dark, secluded and quiet at night. We actually thought we choose the wrong branch as Google Map shows that we are near to Sungai Buloh. Anyway Google map is correct, and I get my one person one fish as you can see in the pictures!

Bibimbap, Ssamjang pasta, black sesame tteok pancake~ Doma, Shoplex Mont Kiara

A walkable distance Korean modern café from my place but rarely eat-in. Just because I tend to overlook there's one nearby. Of all the dishes I've tried, I like their three flavours Korean fried chicken~ sweet soy, sweet chili & spice salt, and Black sesame sticky rice pancake with ice-cream on top! Today we are here for late dinner. Order a Bibimbap and a Korean fusion pasta - Ssamjang cream pasta with bacon and parmesan cheese. Not to forget my favourite Black sesame sticky rice pancake as dessert.
