Lunch with bestie before she leaves KL tomorrow. Saw this Baan Phadthai last night when we were here for chimek. Suggest her Baan Phad Thai, she immediately say okay after have a look at the menu. We order Phad Thai Nuea Yang (Phad Thai with grilled steak), Tomyam Talay (Tom yam seafood soup served with Jasmine rice), and 2 ginger & lemongrass tea. The grilled steak that comes with Phad Thai served in a big plate! The steak is so juicy and tender, really worth for the RM29 I would say! Surprise to find out that Baan Phadthai is awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand in Bangkok for 5 years in a row from 2018 to 2022 after the meal. We made a really good choice to have lunch here today!

Pork Free Thai Food~ Thai Tuk Tuk, Publika
May 2017. Among all the Thai restaurants (big or small scales) around Mont Kiara, Thai Tuk Tuk in Publika is one of it that selling decent and authentic Thai street food in the neighbourhood. We have been eating here pretty often for the past 3 years. It's a pork free Thai restaurant with wide range of Thai street food in their menu. Besides the Thai milk tea which is not really up to my liking, those food I had tried so far were all good. The only thing about this place is not air-conditioning, so its a little hot and humid inside the restaurant. Dishes that I like are Phad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice, Tomyum Seafood, Nam Tok Beef Noodle, Crispy Chicken Skin, Thai Fish Cake, Mango Sticky Rice and Banana in Coconut Milk, which you may refer to their photos posted at below.

Prawn Phad Thai & Thai Combo platter~ Absolute Thai, One Utama Shopping Centre
October 2016. We had Thai food again! In fact last week, we just had Thai food at the newly open Thai Hou Sek in the same shopping centre. Can't help but think about Thailand and Thai Food lately as most of the news is about Thai King is ill and Thai peoples are praying for him by wearing pink. Sadly, after we placed our order, we saw the news of Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej passed has away on social media platform around 4.52pm (Malaysia time). It is a little early for dinner, plus it's weekday, the restaurant is empty and not many customers unlike weekend it is always full house and have to wait for table.
We order their Absolute Thai Combo Platter and Phad Thai with prawns. The combo consist of 4pcs each of Golden Royal Money Bags, Thai Fish Cakes, Crispy Spring Rolls & Prawns wrapped with Wanton Skin served with Mango Salad & 2 types of dipping sauces. We order two Phad Thai since we both wanted Phad Thai and don't want to share lol. The Thai stir-fried rice noodle with prawns is blanket with stir fried egg when it is served. We have a peaceful and quiet meal moment before the restaurant begin to busy again.
泰好食~ Thai Hou Sek, One Utama Shopping Centre
October 2016. A newly open Thai Cafe in One Utama old wing. We have a great time dine in here because of the super friendly and attentive waiter. From the menu, you can tell the cafe is selling Thai Chinese Porkilicious meals. We had Babi-Q Pork Neck - a Thai-style grill pork neck, served with fresh cucumber slice, and a soya based sauce with chopped green onion, slice shallot & chili flakes. The crispy fried garlic and garlic oil that sprinkle on top of the pork neck meats taste so homecook! Ya, crispy fried garlic and garlic oil is one of common condiment in our home! Also order a Seafood Tom Yam - with prawns, squids, fish fillet and oyster mushrooms inside Plus 2 additional Steamed Jasmine Rice to go with the pork neck meat & Tom Yam soup. We also order an extra Banana Fritters with Ice Cream as our dessert. Oh our drinks~ asamboi lemon grass and coconut lychee are very refreshing too!
