Saw the place under renovation and opened for business in May when I hang around in 163 Retail Park. A friend keen to try so we meet here for a dinner date on Tuesday after work. After check, I find out that Osteria Emilia is Proof that we previously went twice or thrice in the past. Now that explains why Proof in Arcoris closed down out of sudden. I think the review on food is vary by food and individual preference. Google reviews shows they have 4.5 stars, we find our dinner just average~ We share a Porchetta di Maiale~ crackling skinned pork roast rolled with Italian herbs and spices, roasted rosemary potatoes, serve with thyme jus; and a Orecchiette Pancetta Alfredo~ Orecchiette Pasta in creamy cheese sauce, a piece of pancetta, leeks & parmesan. The roast pork skin is not crisp and it's a bit chewy. Pasta is average. Guess they are good in fire wood Pizza like what we used to have in Proof as most of the reviews are compliment on their pizza than the mains.

Natalina Italian Kitchen, Avenue K
Friend came over to have lunch nearby my office and wanna try Natalina Italian Kitchen since there's a lot of good reviews on this Italian restaurant. We order a salad ~ Insalata All' Anatra - with duck confit, rocket salad, cherry tomato, caramelized walnut, pear finished with aged balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil. A Pasta ~ Rigatori Alla Norcina - Rigatoni (large & lined tube pasta) cooked al dente with lamb mince, button mushrooms and green peas in creamy sauce, topped with grated roman pecorino cheese. And, a Secondi Piatti - Sardine Alla Pizzaiola from their Josper charcoal oven-grilled specialties menu. After order place, we were serve the house-bake Focaccia bread with 3 types of dip ~ parsley, olive and tomato while waiting for the food to be served. It's lunch hour, (inside) the restaurant almost full house as expected since the space is not big. We were sitting at the outdoor seating which is across the restaurant. We find it more cozy and quiet compare to the crowded inside. If you looking for the vibes and ambience, outside seating definitely not your choice. For us that's ok since we were here for food.
Woodfired Pizza~ Proof, Arcoris Mont Kiara
December 2021. Post-Christmas dinner~ at Proof, Arcoris, during my staycation in Hyatt House. Order a wood-fired verdura pizza made with their house blend tomato sauce, capers, mozarella, pecorino romano, marinated artichoke, olives and grilled vegetables; pair with a refreshing pear and mesclun salad with pomegranate, feta cheese, toasted pecans and honey lemon lavender dressing, and a glass of red wine~ Lovely.
An impromptu Italian dinner~ A.zeta Kitchen, Jalan Kemuja
December 2021. A friend promoted to a higher position today and only revealed it to me half way through the dinner. So happy for him. He's well deserved for it for all the hard work he has done for years. Now I know why he is buying me an Italian dinner tonight~ what a pleasant surprise. Love the food and the food presentation. The elegant lady owner is friendly and attentive, explaining on each of the dish when it is served. What an experience. Thanks for the dinner. I have a good time.
Porchetta, Carbonara & Tiramisu~ Luretta D.O.P Italian Deli, One Utama Shopping Centre
December 2019. Its been a long long time we didn't came to Isetan Food Paradise. I have Isetan vouchers from my company for Christmas allowance so we are here to spend it on food instead of shopping. Decided to give a try to this one and only Italian place~ Luretta DOP Italian Deli this time since we always had Japanese or Korean cuisine whenever we are here, As we thought the price might burn a hole in our pocket even with the vouchers, comes out the price is relatively unexpensive. Our Japanese ramen cost similar or even higher than their pasta.
Not sure what to try, the friendly chef who is also the owner recommend us to try their signature Porchetta D.O.P which is crispy roasted pork belly served with piadina (Italian thin flatbread) and wedges. We also choose to have Carbonara simply because Italian Carbonara is different from the cream carbonara that we used to have and he had never tried it before. Not to miss out tiramisu for dessert after meal. Their tiramisu is so smooth and creamy and rich with coffee aroma. Don't mind to come back again for tiramisu next time. Great hospitality from the staffs and chef.
