Day 2 in Busan. Today we visit the University where he graduated, and meet one of his univ. professor. Pukyong National University boasts a long history as it is the very first university that was established in Busan. Nearby university, there are plenty of street food, cafes, fashion and cosmetic shop, as well as eatery or restaurant that popular among the students with affordable price.
We tried Tornado fries~ a deep fried spiral-cut whole potato on a skewer with 3 seasonings - onion, cheese, and honey. Then Takobi - it's Japanese Takoyaki with Octopus filling. surprise to see Rotiboy cafe here near PKNU too. Never know they have expanded to Korea and even in Busan.
After street food, he then brought me here at 중국성 Chungguk Seong for lunch. This time we try out low price Jjajangmyeon and Jjampong. The Jjajangmyeon only 2,500 won and Jjampong is 3,500won. Price is low so that university students with low budget could afford for the meal. It's half price cheaper than last night first Jjajangmyeon, yet it's delicious!
How to get here:
Take Busan Metro Line 2 to Kyungsung Univ. & Pukyong Nat'l Univ. Station - Exit 3 - turn right and walk straight for 5-10 minutes till PKNU entrance.
