Hospitalized 3 times continuously in a month during covid pandemic period means, have to go thru 3 times covid saliva + nose swab test and isolated for a day in ward before test result out. First hospitalization was emergency, second time was schedule to come back for a procedure a week later, third time was emergency again due to infection after discharged. Drip needle inserted unfortunately I need to go thru four times due to one time it was inserted to right hand instead of left hand causing the blood overflow and vein swollen. An unforgettable January and February in 2021 in my life.
First hospitalization - Body and fingers swollen all over due to kidney infection. No procedure can be carry out until kidney swollen subside.
Second hospitalized - for procedure with full anesthesia in OT for the very first time, alone, as no visitor allowed to stay over and only can visit during visiting hours. Due to lockdown and interstate travel not allowed, I did not let my family knows until I done the procedure and discharge 2 days later. It will just make them worry since they can't come over even they want to.
Third hospitalization - emergency admission due to infection causing high fever at 40 Celsius. Pill antibiotics that prescribed for me so I could discharge and rest at home didn't works well on me. So I need to be admitted for 2 days to completed the antibiotic via drips. The drip needle inserted on my right hand (1st pic) changed to left hand (2nd pic) after blood overflow and vein swollen from the needle. According to the doctor who inserted a new drip needle for me in the middle of the night, it is recommended to insert it to the hand we don't frequently use (which is left hand for me) so this wont happen.
