Revisit~ Vintage Bulgaria restaurant & bar, Tanjung Bungah, Penang

Before we leaving to Busan for short Summer break next month, we went back to Penang during weekend for some matters as well as spend time with my family. We invite my parents and my brother to try out Bulgarian cuisine since they have yet give a try while we keen to try out more dishes that we haven't try before on our previous visit. All the food we order for our dinner were so good that everyone can't get enough of it. My parents even told us (during the dinner) that they want to come again for more other dishes next time (when we are back to Penang) haha. Too bad my iPhone 4 wasn't able to capture nice food picture due to low light and dim environment.

We order four of their signature main course. Traditional sizzling plate~ tender cut of boneless pork, chicken, handmade pork sausage and grilled assorted vegetables served on a hot plate (Picture above). Crown Pork Roasted~ traditional Bulgarian roast pork ribs with their special homemade barbecue sauce. The standing pork ribs that stuffed with meats and veggies filling and styled like a crown stand out the most when it was served. Bulgarian Sausage Platter that we order on our last visit~ homemade kebapche (grilled spiced minced pork), kyofte (meat patty), karnatche (pork spiced sausage) and succulent pork. Every dish was meant for 2 pax but we personally feel it can serve more than 2 pax (per dish). Among all, this simple Bacon Olio Spaghetti with herbs is the one captured our heart the most and all of us agreed that's the best spaghetti aglio olio we ever had so far! Look forward to come back for more next time.
