Kobe Michelin Ramen~ Enishi, Shoplex Mont Kiara

Spotted this Enishi Kobe Michelin Ramen signage up (at the roadside signboard) in Mid June before their official opening. Was thinking they should be open around the same time with Kanbe Sushi (which also opening soon at that time); turns out they only open in late July. Walk over to check if there's queue, surprisingly nope so we just walk in and give a try. Only 2 tables and 8 bar seating~ very limited seating so it's not crowded. Menu is simple~ just Dashi Ramen and their signature Dan Dan Ramen as main, and karaage as sides besides alcohol & drinks. There are 3 flavours to choose for the Dashi based ramen ~ scallops stock shoyu, yuzu shio or shoyu; where topping is either 1 chashu 2 ducks + ajitama or 2 chashu 4 ducks + ajitama. Dan Dan Ramen also has 3 types ~ regular, curry or rich. We go for the scallops stock shoyu dashi based ramen and and regular Dan dan ramen with medium spiciness as recommended by the staff. Payment need to be made upon order. These 2 bowls of ramen cost us RM125.40 in total... is it because of limited seating therefore it's expensive? We did not order any drinks anyway since plain water is serve free.

Just like Kanbe Ramen, there's also manual on how to enjoy ur ramen for reference at the table. The ramen (noodles) no doubt is good~ Dan Dan Ramen with 6 ingredients (minced porks, cashew nuts, mustard greens, pickles, diced onions and chashu) is flavourful and nutty. Medium spiciness (coming from chili powder) is just nice for a person like me who can't take too spicy. I won't recommended to go for very spicy as the chili powder will overpower the original taste of the ramen. Scallops shoyu ramen's dashi broth seems clear and light yet it has a depth flavour of dashi. The portion is quite small (for me), even after I asked a complimentary mini rice to go with the broth, still not enough to make my tummy full haha. Oh don't forget to try out the 3 types of vinegars one by one with a spoon of the ramen + broth before you decide to add more in your ramen to enhance the taste. I personally like the orange vinegar to go with my dan dan ramen. Despite expensive (with awarded Michelin bib gourmand title + limited seats) and small serving, we still find it is a good try since it's not the usual Japanese ramen we had before.
