Edo Ichi is the Japanese restaurant that brings some good old memories for me as the Edo Ichi in Penang is where it held one of the farewell for me before I moved to KL. My then colleagues order those most expensive dish from the menu and it's unforgettable. It is also one of his very first customer in Penang during his days in call bell business, and our dine in. Our same old choice when we dine in at Edo Ichi ~ Tempura, Zaru Soba & Shaba Teriyaki (grilled mackerel with teriyaki sauce). Same choice and same combination at different Japanese restaurants, the taste and quality can be different too. So far we still prefer Edo Ichi if compares to the similar price range Japanese restaurant in town.

八. Hachi Bakery Cafe, 1 Mont Kiara
Hachi Bakery has been open in 1MK since 2018. As one of the nearby bakery choice, I often come here to get sandwiches and breads. I like their tuna and egg sandwich and fruit sandwich than the bread and pastry. Besides that, their breakfast and lunch are also popular among the residents in MK. I find their English Breakfast just so so, but the French Toast is my must have whenever we're here for breakfast. I love their French Toast especially the fresh cream, blueberry jam, honey and whipped cream. Keen to try their lunch as a few times when we were here for lunch it is full house during meal hour.

K Food & Kafe In~ KL Trillion, Jalan Tun Razak
Christal and I must be over-stressed these days, we order double portion for our lunch today. We had Kimchi bokkuembap @ RM20, Japchae @ RM13, Gimbap @ RM12 and Bulgogi-Gimbap @ RM15. The Kimchi bokkuembap comes with 4 side dishes + soup of the day (Korean radish soup). We can't finish it and end up take-away the leftover. So far there are four halal or pork-free Korean food eatery just within 500m from my office building. Two are in KL Trillion - this K Food & Kafe In that we are having lunch now and a Korean Food kiosk in the food court, just next to Kafe In. Taste pretty close the authentic since it is prepared by the Korean owner. Price range starts from RM10 onwards since it is meant to get lunch crowd from office workers nearby. While another two are at The Intermark - Dodo Korea @ Intermark Food Hall which is famous with it's lunch set @ RM15 nett, and Onsemiro that is more to fine dining Korean restaurant.
