Taman Persekutuan Bukit Kiara~ Bukit Kiara Federal Park

July 2019. After several times hikes from Ayuria, Mont Kiara to the borders of TTDI hill, still can't locate the right trail that lead to Bukit Kiara Federal Park is; we decided to drive to TTDI this morning to explore the Federal Park and also check out the trails. Bukit Kiara Federal Park or Taman Persekutuan Bukit Kiara basically divided into 2 zones. The one were we are today is the Arboretum zone which occupied the largest part of the park with jogging, cycling, hiking trails and mountain bike track. While the other zone is TTDI park or Taman Rekreasi Lembah Kiara is a recreation park with a large lake surrounds with jogging trails, recreation area and kids playground. Both located in the same mountain but different entrances at different sides and not connected.

Back to Bukit Kiara Federal Park, as we park our car a little far away from park entrance, before we enter the park we already begin to ascends all the way till the entrance where the guard post is, and continue to ascends more inside the park. There are few van vendors selling drinks outside of the guard post, we tried the soy milk which has a lot of patrons and tt's fresh and refreshing. Nice to fill hungry tummy after morning exercise. The park has uphills and downhills, after go for one full round with brisk walk and some run, our exercise quota hit. And we still not able to figure out where the trails to Bukit Kiara is. Looks like I need to install hiking trail apps before we try again next time to hike from Federal park to Mont Kiara.

American breakfast~ Nutmeg, 163 Retail Park, Mont Kiara

July 2019. Buying husband American breakfast on a Saturday morning. This eatery named Nutmeg serving classic southern and cajun creole inspired cuisine - from New Orleans to Nashville, Southern United States. Located just right next to the mall entrance, Nutmeg always full of patrons whenever I passed by. Had Nutmeg Big Breakfast and Brioche French Toast and a cup of Flat White for me to fix my caffeine of the day. The Nutmeg Big Breakfast consist of scramble two eggs, roasted garlic tomatoes, house-made chicken sausage and salmon, hashed potatoes and toasted brioche. The portion is enough to feed two. Suggest to share if you are not a big eater. While the Brioche French Toast is Bruleed house-made brioche with banana, almonds and butterscotch as topping. It's a little bit too sweet as a breakfast. I still prefer the the common topping ~ maple syrup and whipped cream.

We chose Bavarian pork ribs, baked dolly, barbecue pork salad with bacon, romaine lettuce, and cheese, roasted pineapple with bacon aglio olio, sauteed eringi mushroom, dnd fruit punch since C don't drink alcohol drinks. Not sure if we both are big eater, or our choices for the platter is a bit too small portion for us. We decided to order an extra Pork Bolognese Pasta and Mushroom and Eggplant Pizza. And...we finished everything omg lol. And off course we feel too full and find it amazing how we able to finish all these lol. Anyway this promo is really a steal, do give a try if you like German food!

Individual Lunch Set~ Oriental Landmark, The Intermark

July 2019. Splurge a little on lunch to make ourself happy. My lunch buddy and I went to try out this newly open Oriental Landmark in The Internark. Since the opening, the restaurant always full during lunch hour even we had went early. Today we were lucky to get a seat for two at the extended balcony area facing Vista Tower. One thing about this seating area is, we can constantly feel the vibration from the floor whenever someone walk on it. Their have these individual lunch set which is pretty value that we have been eyeing on since the opening. The menu is vary by weeks as it is weekly specials. We were here on week 2, so we had roasted spring chicken (marinated with special soya sauce), stir fried Asparagus with olive and soy bean sauce, steamed rice with mushrooms and pine nuts in clay pot + a double boiled imperial teapot soup. Thumbs up for meal. Worth for the RM39++ that we are paying for.
