Chimek~ Chi Mac Bistro, Solaris Mont Kiara

December 2018. A long overdue date with Shu Jin. Two years ago we promised to meet up again after an interview. Two years later finally we made it, before 2018 end. We talk for three hours+ over a meal lol. Two of us shared one whole chicken~ Ganjang Chicken (Soy sauce chicken) with Suntory Gold beers. I've been here few times with family and friends. Love their Korean fried chicken especially the original fried chicken, Yangmyum Chicken, Padak and Ganjang chicken which we are having tonight. Oh and also the pickle radish~ crunchy and tangy! Hopefully next meet up won't be another two years again haha.

Xmas eve stroll after lunch~ The Linc KL, Jalan Tun Razak

Christmas eve. Walk over to the newly open mall next door from my office during lunch time. An artsy mall with a giant old tree in the centre of industrial chic design building. The old tree is the reason that draws me here. 

Coffee & Wasabi Mayo Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich~ Grizzly, The Intermark

December 2018. There is this small cafe at the lower ground of The Intermark run by a team of friendly coffee baristas that I would come over and grab coffee and sandwiches once in a while. This cafe named Grizzly has a grizzly (brown) bear stood in front of the front window which is their ambassador. My favourite sandwich is the Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Wasabi Mayo. They served good coffee too. I would came here for a cup of flat white when I get bored with the Nespresso coffee in office, alone of with friend sometimes. Or take a short coffee break and unwind a little at the cafe's cozy corner during the busy working days. 

Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice~ Taipei Taipei, 1 Mont Kiara

Happy to find out that there is Taiwanese food restaurant open in 1 Mont Kiara. Before this, the only Taiwanese food restaurant in the neighbourhood that I know is Fong Lye in Desa Sri Hartamas. We try their signature Braised pork rice and Soy stew pork with rice, and top up a little fee for the side dishes of the day and drink. Food portion is decent and taste is just right! However the price is slightly on the high side. Our meal somehow reminds me of 600cc in Gurney Plaza~ my favourite Taiwanese food Restaurant when I was living in Penang.
