The Peak, Hong Kong

We are staying in Queensway and it is conveniently to go everywhere via not just MTR even bus stop is just right in front of the hotel. Today we head to the peak via double decker bus. The winding road up to the peak somehow has a little similarity to Penang especially the low retaining wall along the hillside. Bus driver drove steadily but fast (as what I saw in those HK drama), it would be scary if we are at the upper level of the double decker (and thank God we are not haha). Besides bungalows and apartment at the top, there is also a shopping mall and square where we can hangout and enjoy the Hong Kong view from Victoria Peak. While we are here, we visited the Madam Tussauds (Wax Museum) as well which I will blog in a separate post next. Had our lunch at one of the cha chan teng (Hong Kong style cafe) inside the mall as we wanted to try the cha chan teng dish but turns out so so and not filling. We end up had tea break at McCafe~ with iced caffe latte and blueberry muffin which Malaysia don't have (yet) before we leave the peak.
