Our very first time watching the Malaysia Independence Day Parade at Dataran Merdeka. We did not went early to get a nice place like others, in fact we only depart from home when the parade begin. We parked our car at KL Sentral, take LRT and alight at Masjid Jamek Station, then walk to Dataran Merdeka. When we arrived, the parade is almost reach it's highlight which also means it's almost reaching the end of the parade. Although it is super crowded and all the crowds has blocked the front rows, it doesn't really matter because we just want to see the air-force show! Standing far behind, we watch the National Security parade by all sorts of military tanks and weapons, then aircrafts and fighter jets fly passed. After the air force show end, the parade is still having last dance performance but many begin to leave including us. We manage to leave Merdeka Square smoothly even there are crowds moving along. Next year I will still watch the National Day Parade but thru 'Siaran Langsung' Live from RTM (our National channel) at home comfortably.
