早早板面~ Jojo Little Kitchen, Desa Sri Hartamas

This place is our frequent breakfast place in Desa Sri Hartamas besides the kopitiam nearby. They have different types of pan mee, taste is good, price also affordable. Besides locals, there are many Japanese or Korean customers eat in here too and most of them are family (parents and kids). The place is run by few foreign workers who has been working here since it's opening. They recognize us and remember what's our usual order since we eat in frequently.

Besides different type of pan-mee, we also like the snacks ~ fried pork and fried wantan. Below are some of the pan mee we order the most. I normally go for dry pan mee since I love 'kon-lou'. Once in a while I will had curry pan mee (soup) when I miss Penang curry mee. He always stick to his only choice~ Mala-pan mee (spicy pan mee).

Minced Pork Pan Mee (Dry)
Dry version pan mee with dark soy sauce (caramel soy sauce) as base sauce topped with minced pork. The minced pork is kind of sweet marinated yet a little salty.

Pork Ball Pan Mee (Dry)
The different between the soup and dry version is, the pan mee and soup is separate for dry version. The noodles will be drenched or tossed with dark soy sauce (caramel soy sauce) to seasoned the noodles.

Fried Pork Pan Mee (Dry) & Fried Pork
I would say the dry version pan mee(s) all more or less similar taste since they use the same sauce~ dark soy sauce or with minced pork. The only different is the topping. Recommend to try their Fried Pork which has a crispy layer taste like it has been deep fried after coated with fried chicken or tempura batter. Quite unique taste. It can be order ala carte snacks not just with the pan mee.

Hot & Spicy Pan Mee (Soup)
This ma-la pan mee pretty similar to Korean Su-jae-bi (Korean Knife Cut Noodle) therefore he often order the same thing. I can eat spicy but I can't handle the spiciness of this mala-pan mee even though we had request to reduce the spiciness.

Knife Cut Noodle with Dried Prawn Soup

We prefer this knife cut noodle than the signature soup pan mee. The soup is savoury since it's pork + prawn broth. This is the only soup noodle dish that he will order if he doesn't feels like having ma-la pan mee.

Curry Laksa Pan Mee
I like the milky curry and fried tofu. I try the dried version but I don't like it. This is because besides the curry sauce, the noodle also add-in sweet soy sauce minced pork which is similar to the dry version pan-mee which making it taste salty. I would prefer soup version for this dish.
