Seafood lunch~ Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant, Teluk Gong, Port Klang

July 2014. We drove all the way to Port Klang in the afternoon thinking that we can visit Pulau Ketam half day and have seafood there but it was not successful as we did not expect the last boat back to mainland is 5pm. (It's a last minute plan and we did not check properly before go). Since already 2.30pm when we about to purchase boat ticket to Pulau Ketam, too short time even just to have seafood meal there. We ditch the plan and go for seafood in Klang instead. I suggest we go back to this Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant where I had a company departmental outing lunch few months ago, fresh seafood with reasonable price. The road to the restaurant somehow reminds me of the road to Seafood Restaurants at Teluk Kumbar in Penang. After passing by a few seafood restaurants, we arrived at Coconut flower~ the one has many cars parking in front of the restaurant as well as an Attap long house next to the open space carpark.

We choose to sit at the open air area at the back. Order fried sotong (squid), a seafood claypot tofu, seafood fried bee-hoon and kam heong crabs. The seafood fried bee-hoon is not the usual fried bee-hoon we always have at seafood restaurant. It's more like a wet fried bee-hoon with fishy smell gravy. It makes us lost our appetite so we end up gave up on the beehoon even it's kind of waste. As for the crabs, we wanted butter crab but they only have kam heong, chili crab or sweet & sour crab. Minimum order weight for crab is half kg. The kam heong crabs taste quite fresh and meaty. Price is not expensive too, only RM36 for the half kg. Total bill came out is RM80+ for 4 dishes plus 2 fresh coconut drink.
