March 2013. 'Ramen Taiko' signage always can be seen whenever we walk or drive pass Shoplex Mont Kiara. After a year, we finally walk over to give a try. It is located at the back corner lot of Shoplex Mont Kiara, therefore the environment is more quiet and peaceful compare to those shoplots that facing front. It has a zen inspired outdoor sitting. but we choose to sit indoor with air-condition since it's a hot afternoon. We order their signature Taiko Chashu Ramen and a Katsudon and it's good! Seems like their business is a bit quiet for a Saturday afternoon. We are the only customers when we were here. There are actually a few long existent Japanese restaurant in Mont Kiara and some is hidden inside the condo including the condo we are staying. So far all are good and taste authentic, we are slowly exploring one by one nowadays.
